TheBluefieldMicropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by theUnited States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties – one inWest Virginia and one inVirginia – anchored by the town ofBluefield, West Virginia.
As of the2010 census, the μSA had a population of 107,342.[1]
As of thecensus[2] of 2010, there were 107,342 people, 44,052 households, and 30,053 families residing within the μSA. The racial makeup of the μSA was 94.2%White, 5.5%African American, 0.6%Native American, 0.7%Asian, 0.0%Pacific Islander, 0.3% fromother races, and 0.1% from two or more races.Hispanic orLatino of any race were 0.7% of the population.
