Bledar Kola (born 1 August 1972) is anAlbanian retiredfootball player and later manager.
Kola comes fromMirditë, but grew up in the city ofLezhë. He was an exemplary student. He started his career atBesëlidhja Lezhë, and then moved toPartizani Tirana. Later he moved toGreece where his playing career took off.
Kola spent most of his career playing for various clubs in theGreek Super League, includingPanathinaikos,Apollon Smyrnis,Panargiakos andAEK Athens.[1] In January 2003, Kola was sacked byKallithea after failing a doping test.[2]
He made his debut forAlbania in a December 1990European Championship qualification match away againstSpain and earned a total of 39 caps, scoring 6 goals.[3] His final international was a March 2001FIFA World Cup qualification againstEngland in Tirana.[4]

Kola took temporary charge atAEK Athens in August 2010 and was named full-time manager ofApollon Smyrnis in July 2012.[5] He also coachedPanargiakos and from 2014 was the assistant ofMarinos Ouzounidis atPanionios,Panathinaikos and AEK Athens, respectively, until 2019.[6]
