Blair Walter Bush (born November 25, 1956) is an American former professionalfootballcenter andlong snapper who played 17 seasons in theNational Football League (NFL) for four teams.[1] He playedcollege football for theWashington Huskies.
Bush was born inFort Hood,Texas, on November 25, 1956. He playedhigh school football atPalos Verdes inPalos Verdes Estates, California andcollege football for theUniversity of Washington,[2] where he was named to the1977 All-Pacific-8 Conference football team and the1977 College Football All-America Team. At the University of Washington, Bush was a member of theLambda Chi Alpha fraternity.[citation needed]
Bush entered theNational Football League in 1978. He played for theCincinnati Bengals from 1978 to 1982, theSeattle Seahawks from 1983 to 1988, theGreen Bay Packers from 1989 to 1991, and theLos Angeles Rams from 1992 to 1994.[2]
In January 1982, as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, he played inSuper Bowl XVI.[citation needed]
