TheBlack Sea Soviet Republic (March – 30 May 1918) was a republic of theRussian SFSR within the territory that corresponded toBlack Sea Governorate in theRussian Empire. Its seat wasNovorossiysk.
In May 1918 it was merged withKuban Soviet Republic into theKuban-Black Sea Soviet Republic.[1]
