Flatisvatnet[2] is alake in the northwestern part ofRana Municipality inNordland county,Norway. The lake is located inside theSaltfjellet–Svartisen National Park, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of the town ofMo i Rana. The glacial lake is also theheadwaters of theGlomåga river which flows south into the lakeLangvatnet. The Bjørnefoss waterfall is located on the northeastern part of the lake, and so the lake is sometimes known as theBjørnefossvatnet (lit. 'Bjørnefoss lake').[3][4]
