William D. Stamps (June 21, 1911 – June 1, 1980) was anAmerican football player and coach.[1] He was a football coach atDuncan High School inDuncan, Oklahoma[2] before serving as the head football coach at Cameron State Agricultural College—now known asCameron University—in 1947 andatMidwestern State University from 1948 to 1950. Stamps playedcollege football atSouthern Methodist University (SMU).[3]
