William Andrew Whitaker (January 18, 1959 – October 2, 2022) was anAmerican footballsafety in theNational Football League (NFL) who played for theGreen Bay Packers and theSt. Louis Cardinals.[1] Whitaker playedcollegiate ball for theUniversity of Missouri before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 7th round of the1981 NFL draft. He played professionally in the NFL for 4 seasons and retired in 1984.[2]
Whitaker died on October 2, 2022, at the age of 63.[3]
