Maria Beatriz Parpinelli Seidl (born 19 September 1961) is a Brazilian actress.
On television, she took roles in notable telenovelas and miniseries asParaíso,Louco Amor,Dona Beija,Mandala,[1]Vale Tudo,Vamp,[2]Engraçadinha... Seus Amores e Seus Pecados,[3]Memorial de Maria Moura,Alma Gêmea[2] andInsensato Coração.[2][4] but she is best remembered by the performance as the bitchy and envious Gláucia inA Gata Comeu, one of her greatest hits.[2]
Seidl was revealed on theSilvio de Abreu's telenovelaJogo da Vida.[3]
Vera, her character inMalhação,[3] discovered a breast cancer and was undergoing a radical mastectomy (choosing, a courageous decision not to reconstruct the breast lost).
In theater, she portrayed the protagonist onBernard Shaw's playCandida.[5][6]
In 2007 she made a cameo in the telenovelaDuas Caras.[2] In 2008, she was in two episodes ofCasos e Acasos.[7]
In 2009, she was cast in the microseriesDeu a Louca no Tempo.[2] In the same year, she took part in the remakeParaíso.[2][8] The actress had been cast in the first version of this telenovela, in 1982.
In 2010 the actress participated in the seriesA Vida Alheia.[9] In the following year, she took part in the telenovelaInsensato Coração.[10] In 2012, she was inLado a Lado, playing Margarida.[11]
In 2017, Bia Seidl signs withRecordTV to play Débora, one of the main characters inApocalipse.[12]
She married the singerRonnie Von in 1984. They broke up some time later.[3][13]
Bia Seidl has two children: Miranda, with actor Sérgio Mastropasqua, and the theater producer Daniel.[14]
