Bhattiprolu railway station (station code:BQU[1]), is aD-categoryIndian Railways station inGuntur railway division ofSouth Central Railway zone.[2] It is situated on theTenali–Repalle branch line and provides rail connectivity toBhattiprolu.[2]: 4 

History

The Tenali–Repalle branch line, constructed byMadras and Southern Mahratta Railway, was opened in 1916.[3][4]

Structure and amenities

The station has roof topsolar panels installed by the Indian railways, along with various railway stations and service buildings in the country, as a part of sourcing 500MWsolar energy.[5][6]
