American singerBeyoncé has released 61singles as lead artist, 17 singles as a featured artist, 13 promotional singles, and six charity singles. According to theRecording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Beyoncé has sold 161.5 million singles as a lead artist in the United States, and is the most RIAA-certified female artist in history.[1][2] To date, she has sold over 200 million records (including digital sales) worldwide, making her one of thebest-selling music artists of all time.[3][4]

Beyoncé's career began as one of the main vocalists ofDestiny's Child. She released her first solo album,Dangerously in Love (2003), during the hiatus of Destiny's Child.[5] It produced the singles "Crazy in Love", "Baby Boy", "Me, Myself and I", "Naughty Girl" and "The Closer I Get to You". With "Crazy in Love" andDangerously in Love, Beyoncé became the first female artist—and the fifth artist ever—to top both the singles and albums charts simultaneously in the United States and the United Kingdom.[6] In 2003, "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy" peaked at number one on the USBillboard Hot 100 for eight and nine weeks, respectively.[7]

After the disbandment of Destiny's Child in 2005,[8] the single "Check on It" featuringSlim Thug was released forThe Pink Panther soundtrack; the song also features Destiny's Child memberKelly Rowland singing the entire second verse and features Rowland singing the choruses with Beyonce, although Rowland is not credited on the song.[9] The single topped the USBillboard Hot 100 chart for five weeks,[10] and was later included on her second studio album,B'Day (2006), which produced six singles, including top-ten hits "Déjà Vu", "Irreplaceable" and "Beautiful Liar". "Ring the Alarm" became Beyoncé's highest debut on the USBillboard Hot 100 chart, entering at number twelve in 2006,[11] whereas "Irreplaceable" remained at the top of the same chart for ten consecutive weeks in 2006–07, becoming her longest-running single at the pole position of the chart.[12]

Beyoncé's third album,I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008) included the singles "If I Were a Boy", "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", which topped the USBillboard Hot 100 chart for four weeks,[13] "Halo" and "Sweet Dreams". Beyoncé's fourth studio album,4, was released in June 2011. The album's first single was "Run the World (Girls)"; although it did not reach the top twenty of the US Hot 100, it reached the top ten in several other countries. Second single, "Best Thing I Never Had", reached the top ten in several charts worldwide and peaked at number 16 on the US Hot 100. Third single "Lift Off", did not chart on the US Hot 100; however, fourth single "Love on Top" peaked at number 20 on theBillboard Hot 100 and topped the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for seven weeks.

Her fifth album,Beyoncé, was released in December 2013. The album's highest-charting single was "Drunk in Love", which reached number two on the USBillboard Hot 100.[14] Beyoncé's sixth studio albumLemonade was released on April 23, 2016. All twelve tracks fromLemonade charted within the Hot 100 in the US, breaking a record previously held byTaylor Swift for most songs by a female artist charting concurrently.[15] The album's lead single, "Formation", was the highest-charting song from the album, peaking at number ten on theBillboard Hot 100. Beyoncé's seventh studio album,Renaissance, was released in July 2022. The album's lead single, "Break My Soul", peaked at number one in the United States and various other countries worldwide.[16] The album's second single, "Cuff It", peaked in the top ten on theBillboard Hot 100 and internationally.

Beyoncé's country and gospel-tinged eighth studio album,Cowboy Carter,[17] was released in March 2024. The co-lead singles were "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages".[18] "Texas Hold 'Em" became her highest chart debut in her career, her seventh solo number-one and her ninth across all credits on theBillboard Hot 100. The third single, "II Most Wanted", a duet withMiley Cyrus, peaked at number six on theBillboard Hot 100.
