Bewholme is a village andcivil parish in theEast Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) north-west of the town ofHornsea.
The civil parish is formed by the villages of Bewholme andDunnington and thehamlet ofNunkeeling.According to the2011 UK census, Bewholme parish had a population of 232,[1] a slight increase on the2001 UK census figure of 230.[2]
The village has a church,St John Baptist, built in 1900 by S. Walker of Bridlington,[3] and football field. The formervicarage was designed byWilliam Burges, who also drew up an unexecuted design for the church.[4]
