Bernard Carl "Bert" Kuczynski (January 8, 1920 – January 19, 1997) was an Americanpitcher for thePhiladelphia Athletics of theMLB and anAmerican footballtight end in theNational Football League for theDetroit Lions and thePhiladelphia Eagles. He went toNortheast High School for high school. He attended theUniversity of Pennsylvania. Later he taught social studies and ancient civilizations for 27 years atCatasauqua High School and coached for the district.
