Bermuda first participated at theOlympic Games in 1936, and has sent athletes to compete in everySummer Olympic Games since then, except when they participated in the1980 Summer Olympics boycott. Bermuda has also participated in everyWinter Olympic Games since 1992.

WithFlora Duffy's gold medal in thewomen's triathlon in2021, Bermuda is the smallest country in the world by population to have won a gold medal at the Summer Olympics.[1][2] From 1976 to 2021, they were the smallest country by population to win a medal overall, but that streak ended whenAlessandra Perilli won bronze forSan Marino in trap shooting in 2021.[3]

TheNational Olympic Committee for Bermuda was created in 1935 and recognised by theInternational Olympic Committee in 1936.
