TheBenjamin Franklin Academics Plus School is a historicelementary school in theCrescentville neighborhood ofPhiladelphia,Pennsylvania. It is part of theSchool District of Philadelphia.
The building was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1988.[1]
The building was designed byHenry deCourcy Richards and was built in 1915. It is a two-story, five-bay, brick building tt was erected atop a raised basement in theLate Gothic Revival style. Additions were built in 1931 and 1954. It features entrances with carved stone andterra cotta surrounds and a brickparapet.[2] The school was named forBenjamin Franklin.
The building was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1988.[1]
