TheBelize Red Cross Society was founded in 1950 by Dr. Daniel Tenenbaum and Dr. Paul Lawrence of Belmopan City Hospital. Previously it was part of theBritish Red Cross. It has its headquarters inBelize City.^[1]^[2]
