TheBelgium women's national cricket team is the national team ofBelgium. It is governed by theBelgian Cricket Federation and takes part in internationalcricket competitions.
In 2011 Belgium hosted a four-team tournament also featuringGermany,Hungary andNetherlands.[4] The following year it participated in the European Women's Cricket Festival inUtrecht, Netherlands.[5]
In 2013 Belgium participated in a five-team tournament inBologna that also featuredItaly,Denmark,Estonia andGibraltar.[6]
In April 2018, theInternational Cricket Council (ICC) granted fullWomen's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, allTwenty20 matches played between Belgium women and otherICC members after 1 July 2018 are eligible to have full WT20I status.[7]
