It is found inSenegal,the Gambia,Guinea-Bissau,Guinea,Sierra Leone,Liberia,Ivory Coast,Burkina Faso,Ghana,Togo,Benin,Nigeria,Cameroon, theRepublic of the Congo, theCentral African Republic, theDemocratic Republic of the Congo,Angola,Uganda,Kenya andTanzania.[2] The habitat consists of forests. The species occasionallymigrates.
The larvae feed onSemirestis paniculata,Maerua,Cadaba,Capparis andRitchiea species.
