Beck's Brewery, also known asBrauerei Beck & Co., is abrewery in the northern German city ofBremen. In 2001,Interbrew bought Brauerei Beck for 1.8 billion euros; at that time it was the fourth-largest brewer in Germany.[2] US manufacture of Beck's has been based in St. Louis, Missouri, since early 2012.[3]
Since 2008, it has been owned byAnheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV subsidiaryInterbrew.[4][5]
Beck's key logo is based upon the city ofBremen's coat of arms, which contains a key attributed to the patron saint of the city,Saint Peter.
The brewery sponsoredJaguar in Formula 1 until 2004.[6]
