Batrachylidae is afamily offrogs from southernSouth America (Argentina andChile). Before being recognized as a family, Batrachylidae was included as asubfamily (Batrachylinae) in the familyCeratophryidae;[1] this is the taxonomy still suggested by theIntegrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS).[2]
