Barrat Qisarya (Arabic:برة قيسارية,lit. 'outskirts ofCaesarea') was aPalestinianArab Bedouin village in theHaifa Subdistrict. It was ethnically cleansed during the Zionist invasion on February 15, 1948.[3] According to Morris in February 1948, the 'Arab al Sufsafi and SaidunBedouin, who inhabited the dunes between Qisarya andPardes left the area.[4] Evidence of previous occupation includes pieces of marble, pottery and glass, as well as ruined walls. It was located 32 km southwest ofHaifa. Today, the city ofOr Akiva is located on the site.[3]
