Baron Milner of Leeds, ofRoundhay in theCity of Leeds, is a title in thePeerage of the United Kingdom.[1] It was created on 20 December 1951 for theLabour politicianJames Milner. His only son, the second Baron, was one of the ninety electedhereditary peers that were allowed to remain in theHouse of Lords after theHouse of Lords Act of 1999. Like his father Lord Milner of Leeds sat on theLabour benches. As of 2018[update] the title is held by the latter's only son, the third Baron, who succeeded in 2003.
There is no heir to the barony.[2]
