Baron Baillieu, ofSefton in theCommonwealth of Australia and of Parkwood in theCounty of Surrey, is a title in thePeerage of the United Kingdom.[1] It was created in 1953 for the businessman and public servant,Sir Clive Baillieu, the son of theAustralian financier and politicianWilliam Baillieu. Baillieu was Chairman and President of theDunlop Rubber Company and President of theFederation of British Industries and also worked for theBritish government during theSecond World War. As of 2010[update] the title is held by his grandson, the third Baron, who succeeded his father in 1973.
Theheir apparent is the present holder's son, Dr the Hon. Robert Latham Baillieu (b. 1979)
