Barentin (French pronunciation:[baʁɑ̃tɛ̃]) is acommune in theSeine-Maritimedepartment in theNormandyregion in northernFrance.

Geography

The town is situated in the valley of theAustreberthe, a small affluent of the Seine.[3] It is a town oflight industry andfarming situated by the banks of the riverAustreberthe in thePays de Caux, some 10 miles (16 km) northwest ofRouen at the junction of the D6015, D143 and the D104 roads.SNCF operates aTER rail service here.
