Bare Creek is awatercourse[2] that is part of theMiddle Harbour catchment ofSydney Harbour that is located in thenorthern beaches region ofSydney,New South Wales,Australia.
Bare Creek rises inbushland in the north-western corner ofBelrose. The main channel of the creek flows west throughGarigal National Park, while the steep headwaters originate to the north of the sub-catchment, immediately south ofMona Vale Road. The creek flows generally west south-west before reaching itsconfluence withFrenchs Creek to form theMiddle Harbour Creek, north of the suburb ofDavidson. The creek has acourse of 3 kilometres (1.9 mi).
Major land uses throughout the catchment area include theAustlink Business Park, low-medium residential development, non-urban bushland (outside the national park) and the Belrose Waste Management Facility. The sub-catchment is around 10 per centimpervious.[1]
Amountain bike facility has been proposed for the catchment area surrounding Bare Creek.[3]
