Bankimanjali Stadium,[1] commonly known asNaihati Stadium, is afootball stadium located in a municipality ofNaihati inNorth 24 Parganas district in the Indian state ofWest Bengal. Named afterBankim Chandra Chatterjee, the stadium is owned by Naihati Municipality and has a capacity of 25,000 spectators at present. The stadium has hosted games of theCalcutta Football League, theIFA Shield,[2] theI-League,[3][4] and theDurand Cup. The stadium is the official ground of friendly club tournament the Naihati Gold Cup.[5] The turf of the stadium is regarded as one of the best in Kolkata.
