Banana pith

Banana pith orbanana stem, is avegetable harvested from the starchy inner core ofbananapseudostems. It is used similarly toheart of palms in the cuisines of thePhilippines,Malaysia,Indochina,Sri Lanka,Myanmar and southernIndia.[1][2][3][4]
