Bambang Nurdiansyah (born 28 December 1960 inBanjarmasin,East Kalimantan,Indonesia) is an Indonesianfootball coach and former footballer.
Before becoming a coach, he was a footballer, mostly withPelita Jaya andIndonesia national football team for 11 years (1980–1991).[1] He also played forYanita Utama andKrama Yudha Tiga Berlian on theGalatama era on 1980s.[2]
In the 2008 season Nurdiansyah coachedIndonesia Super League club,Arema Indonesia, but withdrew having just undergone four matches due to feeling pressured by Arema's support groups, Aremania.[citation needed] He later went to coachPSIS Semarang in the 2008/09 season. He coached PSIS before in 2005, winning trophies for the club, but resigned due to family reason.[citation needed]
Previously he had trainedPelita Krakatau Steel in 2006. In addition, Bambang also trainedPersita Tangerang.[citation needed]
In 2005, after the end of the league season, Bambang appointed by thePSSI to train theIndonesia national football team to contest againstSouth Africa national football team in the match of the anniversary of theGolongan Karya or Golkar, a political party in the country.[citation needed]
He also coached theIndonesia women's national football team atSEA Games.[citation needed]
Currently, he manages soccer club inWest Papua,Persiram Raja Ampat, that played at the2011-12 Indonesia Super League.[3]
He was awarded as one of 22 Indonesia football legends on the final ofPiala Indonesia on 2007[4]
During his time coachingCilegon United F.C., he promote them toLiga Indonesia Premier Division in 2014 after winningLiga Indonesia First Division andLiga Indonesia Second Division in two years.[5][6]
