Balih ofKish was the fourteenthSumerian king in the First Dynasty of Kish, according to theSumerian king list. His father wasEtana, whom he succeeded as ruler.[1] The kings on the early part of theSKL are usually not considered historical, except when they are mentioned inEarly Dynastic documents. Balih is not one of them.[2]
