Baisla or Bainsla is aclan ofGurjar ethnic community.[1][2] Its variant spellings includeBainsle, Baisle, Besle, Bansla.[3]

Ethnography

The Baisla are generally located in northern Indian states ofRajasthan,Madhya Pradesh,Haryana,Punjab,Himachal Pradesh,Delhi[2] andUttar Pradesh.[4] most of their population is found in these states.

InMeerut district the Baislas heldZamindari over 16 villages[5]
