Bay sach chruk (Khmer:បាយសាច់ជ្រូក[baːjsaccruːk];lit. 'rice and pork') is aCambodian pork and rice dish. It is commonly served as a breakfast dish.
Bay sach chruk is made from thin cuts of pork marinated inpalm sugar,garlic,coconut milk, andfish sauce with variations of themarinade in different parts of Cambodia.[1] This pork is served withsteamed rice paired with a bowl ofchicken broth garnished withradishes andfried onions. The dish is normally prepared and kept warm over a grill or a bed of coals. It is a common breakfast food in Cambodia.[2][1][3]
