TheBadjiri people, also writtenBudjari orBadyidi, are anAustralian Aboriginal people of just north of theParoo River, close to the southern border ofQueensland.

They are not to be confused with thePitjara/Bidjara people of theWarrego River area or theBidjara/Bitjara people of theBulloo River area.

According toNorman Tindale, the Badjiri lands spanned some 4,100 square miles (11,000 km2), reaching from aroundHungerford toEulo on theParoo River. Their eastern limits were aroundBarringun, Tinnenburra, Tuen, andCunnamulla. They were also present at Caiwarro and about theeastern side of Currawinya.[1]
