Baconique meal

Abaconique meal (French:repas baconique) was aFrench meal consisting entirely of various preparations ofpork, either fresh orsalt.[1] The term was supposedly in use until the sixteenth century, and "proves that the wordbacon is indeed a word of French origin" according toLarousse.[1]
