Order of bacteria
Bacillales, fromLatin "bacillus", meaning "little staff, wand", are anorder ofGram-positive bacteria, placed within theBacillota.[1] TheBacillales are the most productive order of the phylum "Firmicutes".[2] Representativegenera includeBacillus,Listeria andStaphylococcus.[3]
