BR-Klassik is the common branding of theclassical music offerings of theBayerischer Rundfunk (BR), the public broadcaster ofBavaria. It is principally associated with theMunich-basedradio station, created in 1980 and calledBayern 4 Klassik until 2009, but the name is also used on thetelevision channels and online broadcasts and publications of the BR, as well as by itsrecord label, which publishes recordings made by itsmusical ensembles.[1]
