TheX-Coupe was a concept crossover coupe designed byChris Bangle forBMW, debuting at the2001 North American International Auto Show inDetroit. Based upon theBMW X5chassis,[1] the X-Coupe featured analuminium body and a 3.0 litreturbo-diesel engine. Unlike theBMW X5, the X-Coupe had analuminium body, atrunk opening downwards and two doors that swing outward.
