Ayhan Elmastaşoğlu (born 23 August 1941)[1] is a retired Turkish professionalfootballer. Elmastaşoğlu is best known for his 12 year stint withGalatasaray from 1960-1972. He helped Galatasaray win 5Süper Ligs, 4Turkish Cups, and 2Turkish Super Cups.[2]
Elmastaşoğlu was a youth international for Turkey, and represented the seniorTurkey team 19 times.[3] He debuted for Turkey in a1966 FIFA World Cup qualification 1-0 loss toPortugal on 19 April 1964.[4]
Elmastaşoğlu's brothers,Ayfer andNail, were also professional footballers.[2]
