August Englas (15 January 1925 – 21 March 2017) was anEstonianwrestler who competed for theSoviet Union.[1]

Englas was born in Pühajärve Parish (now part ofOtepää Parish). In the1952 Summer Olympics, after defeatingAdil Atan,Shrirang Jadhav andMax Leichter, and losing againstHenry Wittenberg andViking Palm, he took fourth place.[2] He won the gold medal at the 1953 and 1954World Championships.
