Aubignan (French pronunciation:[obiɲɑ̃];Provençal:Aubinhan) is acommune in theVauclusedepartment in theProvence-Alpes-Côte d'Azurregion in southeasternFrance. Close toBeaumes-de-Venise and the famousCôtes du Rhône vineyards, Aubignan is, itself, locally famous for the production of wine, and of young vines and vine grafts.

The village is located to the North ofCarpentras, and is part of theComtat Venaissin. It is built on a hill.
