Atmospheric Research is ascientific journal dealing with the part of theatmosphere wheremeteorological events occur; intended for atmospheric scientists (such as meteorologists andclimatologists), aerosol scientists, andhydrologists. It is a highly international journal with attention given to all processes extending from the earth surface to thetropopause, but special emphasis continues to be devoted to the physics of clouds andprecipitation, i.e.atmospheric aerosols; microphysical processes; cloud dynamics andthermodynamics; numerical simulation of cloud processes; clouds and radiation; meso- and macrostructure ofclouds andcloud systems, andweather modification.
