Atlanta Primus (born 21 April 1997) is a Jamaican professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forCharlton Athletic, on loan fromSouthampton. Born in England, she plays for theJamaica women's national team.[1]
On 5 September 2020, Primus signed for London City,[1] extending her contract by a further year on 16 June 2021.[2]
On 15 August 2023, Primus signed forSouthampton.[3]
On 17 September 2024, Primus signed for Charlton Athletic on a season long loan.[4]
Primus representedJamaica in a friendly match againstCosta Rica.[5] After being called up for the Jamaica squad for the2023 World Cup Primus started in the opening game against France, where the nation achieved their first point ever at aWoman's World Cup.[6]
Primus is the daughter of formerReading andPortsmouth footballerLinvoy Primus.[7] Through her father, she is of Jamaican and Vincentian descent.[8] Growing up she attendedItchen College in Southampton.[9]
