Club Atlético Tetuán was a Spanish football club based inTétouan,Spanish protectorate of Morocco. The club played a single season inLa Liga in1951–52, after winning theSegunda División Southern Zone in1950–51.[1] This ended in relegation after finishing last of 16 teams.[2]
FollowingMorocco's independence in 1956 the club's directors decided to merge the club with local clubSociedad Deportiva Ceuta (1932–1956), becomingClub Atlético de Ceuta and eventually merging intoAD Ceuta. The club inherited Atlético Tetuán's federative rights in Spain. AD Ceuta dissolved in 2012.
