Astynous orAstynoos (Ancient Greek: Ἀστύνοος) is a name that may refer to one of the following characters inGreek mythology:

• Astynous, son ofPhaethon, son ofEos. He was the father of KingSandocus ofCelendreis who in turn fathered KingCinyras ofCyprus.^[1]
• Astynous, a defender ofTroy killed byDiomedes.^[2]
• Astynous, son ofProtiaon and another defender of Troy.Polydamas entrusted to him his horses before going into the battle.^[3] Astynous was killed byNeoptolemus during theTrojan War.^[4]
