Hujjat al-Islam[1]Asghar Dirbaz (Persian:عسگر دیرباز, born 1959 inMianeh, East Azerbaijan)[2] is an IranianShiitecleric, author and politician.[3] He is a member of4th,[4]5th[5] and 6thAssembly of Experts from theWest Azerbaijan electorate. Dirbaz won his membership with 1,208,599 votes[6] in themidterm election on 22 March 2013.[7] He was reelected in the 2016 and 2024 elections.[8]
