Ascot Place is an 18th-century mansion on the edge ofWindsor Great Park, set in 400 acres (1.6 km2) of parkland betweenCranbourne,North Ascot andWinkfield in theEnglish county ofBerkshire.
It is located close toWindsor Great Park and Ascot Racecourse. The mansion itself and variousstatues and other structures in its garden areGrade II listed, whilst agrotto to the south of house and at west end of lake isGrade I listed.[1]
Records of Ascot Place date back to 1339, with owners including baked beans tycoonH.J. "Jack" Heinz II. In 1989 the house was bought byKhalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the emir ofAbu Dhabi.
