Arviat South (Inuktitut:ᐊᕐᕕᐊᑦ ᓂᒋᐊ,[1]French:Arviat Sud,[1]Inuinnaqtun: Arviat Hivuraa)[1] is anelectoral district (riding) for theLegislative Assembly ofNunavut, Canada.[2] The riding consists of part of the community ofArviat. The district was created prior to the28 October 2013 general election. The community was previously inArviat.[3]

Arviat South MLAJoe Savikataaq, who was Deputy Premier of Nunavut following the October 30, 2017 election, became Premier afterPaul Quassa was removed from his position after a vote of no-confidence.[4][5]
