TheArtist of Stardom Championship (アーティスト・オブ・スターダム王座,Ātisuto Obu Sutādamu Ōza) is aprofessional wrestlingsix-woman tag teamchampionship owned byWorld Wonder Ring Stardom. The title was first announced during Stardom's year-end event on December 24, 2012,[2][3] and two days later its name was revealed as the "Artist of Stardom Championship", with a four-team one nightsingle-elimination tournament announced to determine the inaugural champions.[4][5] The current champions areH.A.T.E. (Konami,Rina, andFukigen Death), who are in their first reign as a team, but third for Konami, first for Rina and fifth for Fukigen individually.
On January 14, 2013, Kawasaki Katsushika Saikyou Densetsu (Act Yasukawa,Natsuki☆Taiyo andSaki Kashima) defeated Team Shimmer (Kellie Skater,Portia Perez andTomoka Nakagawa) in the finals of the tournament to become the inaugural champions.[6][7][8]
The championship belts were introduced on February 6, 2013, when they arrived to Stardom's office from theirAmerican maker "Top Rope Belts". The belts are rare among all other tag team championship belts in that they are all of different color; one is blue, one orange and one pink. There is no rule for the belt color distribution into the teams. Each title holder gets to choose her own belt colour freely. The biggest star-shaped plate is inscribed with "Three stars make the highest magic", while the three smaller star plates feature the words "high, art, bonds". These inscriptions depict the strong unity of thethree-woman tag team which holds the championship.[9]
On April 9, 2017, the title was vacated after Momo Watanabe was unable to perform due to an injury.[10] On April 15, a one-day, four-team tournament took place to crown a new champion. The winners wereQueen's Quest (AZM,HZK andIo Shirai).[11]
