Ars Aevi is a museum ofcontemporary art inSarajevo,Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1] It was established during thesiege of Sarajevo as a cultural resistance movement to theBosnian war. It holds a collection of approximately 130 works by renowned world artists such asMichelangelo Pistoletto,Jannis Kounellis,Joseph Beuys,Marina Abramović andJoseph Kosuth.[2] A new museum building, designed byRenzo Piano, is planned to be built in the upcoming years.[3]
