Arnold Hunter (born 15 March 1980) is aNorthern Irish professionalfootballreferee.[1] He has been a full international forFIFA since 2011.[2]
Hunter became a referee following a playing career, in which he took part as agoalkeeper.[3] On 7 July 2011, Hunter made his European debut in a match betweenFC Lusitanos andNK Varaždin in aUEFA Europa Leaguefirst qualifying round match.[4] His first international match was betweenArmenia andMalta on 7 June 2013.[5] Hunter's first Europa League group stage appointment was for the match betweenVillarreal andApollon Limassol in October 2014.[3]
