InGreek mythology,Arneus (Ancient Greek: Ἀρνέου) was the father ofMegamede who became the mother of the 50daughters of KingThespius ofThespiae.^[1] In other versions of the myth, these daughters were born from different unnamed mistresses of the ruler.^[2]
