Armstrong Laboratory was a research and development organization operated by theUnited States Air ForceMateriel Command.[1] In 1997, the Laboratory was merged into theAir Force Research Laboratory.[2]
The Laboratory was named after GenHarry G. Armstrong, known as "the father of space medicine."
